CRES CURBSIDE LUNCH PICK UP LOCATIONCumberland Road Elementary will be serving as a curbside pick up location during remote learning. Beginning on August 17, 2020, meals may be picked up from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Please remember to remain in your vehicle and follow the directions of cafeteria and school staff.

The district is reviewing and considering multiple options for schools based on guidance received from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).

To assist with planning for the fall, the district has launched a parent survey to gather input and feedback about remote learning: https://forms.gle/PAiVkBFa7udx2i1Z7. Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete one survey per household.

“As we continue to monitor and follow COVID-19 guidance, we are exploring multiple scenarios and options for school in the fall,” said CCS Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr. “Our final decision will be guided by directions from the Governor, along with state and local health officials. Our top priority is the safety of our students and staff.”
